I liked the history and geography part of social studies, but not the touchy-feely indoctrination part of it, especially in grade school. It got better in 7th grade and after.

As with other classes, some teachers only presented one point of view, and one often had to agree with the teacher. I realized some of it then, but later realized more fully that a certain teacher had only presented one point of view.

I did not take social studies in 12th grade. Instead of social studies and German, I took advanced individual study in matrix and linear algebra (Mr. Kreamer) and music theory (Mr. Folmer).
